Description:

Nidlax powder contains Isabgul Flavoured Powder (Desert Indianwheat) as the active ingredient. When mixed with water, it forms an orange-flavoured natural fiber drink that helps relieve constipation, regulate bowel movement, and reduce cholesterol.

Composition:

Indication:

Chronic & occasional constipation, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Hemorrhoids (piles), Heart disease & hyperlipidemia, Diabetes & obesity, Ulcerative colitis & colon cancer, Gastrointestinal irregularities.

Dosage:

Constipation: Adults: 3.5 gm (1 spoonful) 1–3 times daily with a full glass of water. Children (6–12 years): ½–1 spoonful twice daily. IBS: 6.4–30 gm/day (in divided doses). Hemorrhoids: 10.5–20 gm/day. Heart disease: 7–18 gm/day. Hyperlipidemia: Up to 20.4 gm/day. Diabetes: 3.4–22 gm/day. Obesity: 1.7–36 gm/day. Or as directed by a registered physician.

Drug Interaction:

Interacts with Carbamazepine.

Side Effects:

Usually no side effects in recommended dosage.

Contraindications:

Contraindicated in patients with gastrointestinal obstruction or bowel blockage.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

Use only under physician’s advice.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed.

Caution:

Take after meals with sufficient water. Avoid taking just before bedtime.
