Description:
Mena Q7 is a Vitamin K2 supplement containing Menaquinone-7 (MK-7), a naturally occurring and highly bioavailable form of Vitamin K2. Menaquinone-7 plays an important role in calcium metabolism and supports the proper utilization of calcium in the body. It helps direct calcium toward bones and supports healthy bone mineralization while contributing to cardiovascular and arterial health. Mena Q7 is designed to support healthy bones and overall calcium balance.
Composition:
Each capsule contains Menaquinone-7 (Vitamin K2) USP 200 mcg and other approved ingredients.
Indication:
Indicated as a nutritional supplement for Vitamin K2 deficiency and for supporting healthy bone mineralization and calcium metabolism. It may be used as supportive nutritional management for osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and vascular calcification risk.
Dosage & Administration:
1–2 capsules once or twice daily or as directed by the registered physician.
Drug Interaction:
Menaquinone-7 may alter the effect of Warfarin. Concomitant use with Orlistat may decrease the absorption of Menaquinone-7. Patients taking anticoagulant medicines should consult a physician before use.
Side Effects:
Generally well tolerated at the recommended dosage. No significant adverse effects have been reported at recommended supplemental doses.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Menaquinone-7 or any of the ingredients.
