Description:

DermaFast is a potent medicated shampoo formulated with Coal Tar Oil and Salicylic Acid, clinically proven to treat a range of stubborn scalp conditions. This powerful blend works synergistically to cleanse, soothe, and revitalize the scalp while promoting healthier, stronger hair. Coal Tar Oil: Helps treat dandruff, scalp psoriasis, and seborrheic dermatitis by slowing skin cell growth and shedding dead skin layers. Salicylic Acid: A keratolytic agent that gently exfoliates the scalp, reduces flakiness, and improves overall scalp health.

Composition:

Active Ingredients: Coal Tar Oil (Pine Tar Oil) 1.0% – 1 ml, Willow Bark Extract (as Salicylic Acid 3.0%) – 3 ml. Excipients: SLES / ALES 13% – 13 ml, SLS / ALS 5% – 5 ml, EDTA 0.50% – 0.50 ml, Citric Acid 0.80% – 0.80 ml, Lanolin 0.50% – 0.50 ml, CoCo DEA 1.00% – 1 ml, Cocamidopropyl Betaine 2.00% – 2 ml, Olive Oil 2.00% – 2 ml, Acetyl Alcohol 1.00% – 1 ml, Sodium Benzoate 1.00% – 1 ml, Permethrin 2.00% – 2 ml, Dimethicone 1.00% – 1 ml, Aqua (Purified Water) – q.s. to 100 ml.

Indication:

DermaFast Medicated Shampoo is clinically formulated to support the treatment and management of various chronic and infectious scalp conditions, including: Seborrheic Dermatitis, Recurrent Scalp Psoriasis, Lichen Planus, Persistent and Resistant Dandruff, Tinea Capitis (Scalp Fungal Infection), Impetigo (Bacterial Infection of the Scalp), Scalp Ringworm, Scalp Scleroderma. This shampoo is ideal for individuals struggling with recurring scalp irritation, inflammation, or infection, offering both therapeutic and cosmetic benefits with regular use.

Dosage:

Wet hair and scalp completely with water. Apply the shampoo & produce enough lather to clean hair and scalp. Massage gently over entire scalp. Rinse hair with warm water. Dry hair thoroughly after the final rinse. To prevent recurrence use 2-3 times in a week or as directed by Reg. Physician.

Drug Interaction:

DermaFast Shampoo is formulated for topical use and is generally well tolerated. However, it is important to consider the following: There are no significant drug interactions reported when used as directed on the scalp. Avoid concurrent use with other topical scalp treatments (such as corticosteroids, antifungals, or retinoids) unless advised by a physician, as this may increase the risk of irritation or reduce effectiveness.
