Description:

ADO-FAST (Vasakarista) is an alcohol-free, non-sedating herbal cough syrup formulated from time-tested Ayurvedic ingredients including Vasaka (Adhatoda vasica). It effectively relieves coughs, softens and liquefies stubborn phlegm, soothes throat irritation, and clears respiratory passages. It is especially effective in relieving smoker's cough, sore throat, and cold-related chest congestion without causing drowsiness.

Composition:

Each 5 ml syrup contains extracts of: Adhatoda vasica (Vasaka) 0.68 gm, Piper longum (Pipul) 0.14 gm, Glycyrrhiza glabra (Jasthimadhu) 6.78 mg, Zingiber officinale (Ginger) 6.78 mg, Terminalia chebula (Haritaki) 73.24 mg, Vitis vinifera (Raisin) 0.14 gm, Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi) extract and other synergistic herbal excipients q.s.

Indication:

Acute and chronic cough, smoker's cough, sore throat, allergic cough, chest congestion, liquefaction of phlegm, and irritation of the upper respiratory tract.

Dosage & Administration:

Adults: 2–3 teaspoonfuls (10–15 ml) 2–3 times daily after meals. Children (under 12 years): 1–2 teaspoonfuls (5–10 ml) 2–3 times daily after meals.(Mixing with a little warm water enhances effectiveness). Or as directed by a registered physician/Ayurvedic practitioner.

Drug Interaction:

No significant drug interactions reported. Well-tolerated when taken alongside other conventional medications.

Side Effects:

Free from side effects such as drowsiness, sedation, constipation, or dryness of the mouth. Rare cases of mild gastric discomfort in sensitive individuals.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity or known allergy to Adhatoda vasica or any of the herbal ingredients.

Consult a registered physician before using during pregnancy and lactation.

Storage Conditions:

Store in a cool, dry, and dark place below 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Precaution & Caution:

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Shake the bottle well before each use. If cough persists for more than 7 days, consult a registered physician.
